What’s Happening at FPGMC
August, 2026

After 5 Women’s Group:  Monday, August 17th @ 6:30pm in Fellowship Hall.
Prayer Booth:  Saturday, August 22nd from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  Free food and prayer requests taken.  Outdoors along the south side of the church on Erie Ave. 
Children’s Ministry:  Sunday, August 23rd during 9:00am service.  Children 5 and under encouraged to participate.

Things to Know

Our Welcome Sign   You may have noticed our outdoor electric message board has not been working for a few weeks.  Unfortunately it needs to replaced.  Not the whole sign, just the message board part.  It will be another four weeks to get it fixed.  For the past 12 years I have been updating the sign with new messages on a weekly basis.  It would be greatly appreciated if someone would be willing to take over this responsibility.  The company will provide training on the use and operation of the new message board.  This sign provides a great way to reach out to the community to let them know what’s going on at our church, provide inspirational messages and holiday/seasonal greetings.  If you are interested in doing this, please contact me.       John Winter

New Church Office Hours:  Beginning June 22, 2026, office hours will change and be open from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday thru Thursday.  The office will be closed on Fridays.

Hospitality Table:  Join your church family and visitors for coffee, juice & snacks for a little fellowship time every Sunday before and after the worship service in the Chapel/Parlor.  All are welcome!!

Soda Pop Sunday: How can the price of a can of soda help save the life of a rescued infant in Kenya?  By supporting Dave & Jennifer Bell’s rescue mission in Kenya.  The last Sunday of every month will be designated as “Soda Pop Sunday”.  Funds collected will buy needed items such as medicine, diapers, and food.  What a wonderful way to care for “the least of these” until they are adopted by a Christian family.
