What’s Happening at FPGMC
April, 2026

FPGMC Scholarships:  Applications for scholarships are now available for church members.  Go to the Scholarship Page to obtain an application and for more details.  Applications due April 26th.
FPGMC Golf Open & Lunch:  Sunday, April 26th starting at 11:30am in the church basement.  Enjoy playing a round of miniature golf as you proceed through the course laid out in the church basement.  Putters and balls will be provided.  Food & refreshments will be served.  Sign-up sheet in the Gathering Area.

FPGMC Community Meal:  Sunday, May 3rd from 4:30-5:30pm in Fellowship Hall.  All are welcome, especially those in need.
Scholarship Committee Meeting:  May 5th @ 6:30pm in the library.
Mother’s Day:  Sunday, May 10th.  “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the gates of heaven.” (Proverbs 31:31)  God bless all the mom’s for the work they do for their family and bringing life into this world.
Trustee Committee Meeting:  Tuesday, May 12th @ 6:30pm in the library.
Ephesians 5 Breakfast:  Saturday, May 16th from 8:00-10:00am in Fellowship Hall.  The community is welcome!
Scholarship / Graduation Sunday:  Sunday, May 17th during the 9:00am worship service.  We will be presenting scholarship awards to the recipients and honoring those that graduated from high school & college.
Children’s Ministry:  Sunday, May 17th during 9:00am service.  All children age 5 and under are welcome to participate.
Administrative Board Meeting:  Tuesday, May 19th @ 6:30pm in the library.
Memorial Day:  Monday, May 25th.  We honor are those soldiers that gave the ultimate sacrifice giving up their lives to protect our country and our freedoms.  We also give thanks to those living veterans and current active military personnel for their call to service. 

Things to Know

FPGMC Accepts New Pastor:  On Sunday, March 29th, the congregation of the church had a vote and accepted David Williams to be our new pastor.  David has been our Ministry Leader since July of 2025 and is well known to the church for his dedication and his strong belief in the Lord and the Holy Bible.  We are excited to have David as our new leader of the church.

Hospitality Table:  Join your church family and visitors for coffee, juice & snacks for a little fellowship time every Sunday before and after the worship service in the Chapel/Parlor.  All are welcome!!

Soda Pop Sunday: How can the price of a can of soda help save the life of a rescued infant in Kenya?  By supporting Dave & Jennifer Bell’s rescue mission in Kenya.  The last Sunday of every month will be designated as “Soda Pop Sunday”.  Funds collected will buy needed items such as medicine, diapers, and food.  What a wonderful way to care for “the least of these” until they are adopted by a Christian family.
