Talent Show (November 9, 2024): The 6th annual Talent Show was full of more exciting, fun and unusual talent. There was a total of 7 acts that included music, stories, bells and singing. Plus the return of the “Okie-Dokie” spot quiz between acts and some “unusual stories”. The fellowship started with a nice meal of Special Autumn Chili and Chicken & Rice Soup, along with hot cider to warm your bones on a chilly November evening. Of course, no event would be complete unless we had plenty of delicious desserts to cap it off. Thank you to the Adult & Family Committee for hosting this family friendly show.
The nights program included the following acts:
> “Cell Phone” – Ken Bailey
> “Church Singers” – Andrea Batt & Friends
> “Old Time Trucker Radio” – Ken Bailey
> “Animal Sounds” – David Fink
> “Frank & The Cowboys” – Five Piece Bell Choir
> “The ELK Trio” – Eileen, Linda & Kelly
> “Frank N. Stein & His Trumpet” – Jerry Nooker

Feed My Starving Children (October 12, 2024): Eighteen volunteers from FPGMC joined other volunteers to pack food that will be distributed throughout the world to starving children. The work if fun and fast paced.
The FPGMC volunteers worked a 2 hour shift that goes by quickly. Our job is to fill packets with dried vegetables, vitamins, rice and protein and pack them in a box. We packed a total of 24 boxes and each box contains 36 food packets. Each food packet makes 6 meals. We filled a total of 864 bags. That equals 5,184 meals that will feed 14 hungry children for a year.

Church Family Picnic (July 28, 2024): We had a bright warm day for the annual FPGMC Family Picnic.
As always there was plenty of delicious homemade food, desserts and of course good old Sheboygan brats & burgers for everyone. Plus nothing like ice cold lemonade to quench your thirst.
Everyone enjoyed socializing with with church family members that were in attendance. It was a good time for all at Cleveland Park in Sheboygan.
Thank you to everyone that made donations for this fun day and to the Adult & Family Committee for organizing this annual event!

FPGMC Golf Classic Open (May 19, 2024): Our 7th annual Golf Open was another fun day for the church family. They participated in around of 18-holes of miniature golf. 29 golfers took part on a course that was laid out throughout the church basement. All the holes have a theme with obstacles that add to the challenge and laughs. Some hole themes were; the outhouse hole, railroad hole, soccer hole, Noah’s Ark hole, road construction hole, and kitchen hole. Some holes had multiple holes in layers.
Pastor Warren had the best score of the day with a round of 40. Perhaps he had some Devine intervention! Jerry Doyle and Andy Schmidt had the most hole-in-ones with 5. A hot lunch was served which include a “Sandwich in the Rough” (Sloppy Joes), “Pick Your Slice” (Pickle spears), Chip Shots (Potato Chips), On-The-Green (Lettuce Salad), Bucket of Balls (Melon Balls), Hole-in-one (Doughnut Holes), among other delicious food and fantastic desserts. It was a wonderful day of fun, food and fellowship for our church family!!!

Church Family Bowling Party
February 25, 2024
Dozens of our church family got together at Odyssey Fun Center in Sheboygan Falls for a bowling party for all ages and abilities. Not only was there plenty of pin action, the gutter saw its share of action to. So no part of the bowling alleys was left undisturbed. The kids made use of the gutter guards, but the adults had to “fling it” and sometimes hope for the best. But no matter what the score was, laughter and fun was the big hit.
Also lots of members came out just to watch and cheer everyone on and get an afternoon of laughs. There was no shortage what to see as scores ranged from the 50’s to the 200’s. So there was a variety of bowling skills to see.
This was the first family bowling party, and judging by the turnout and the fun, it looks like this could be an annual event.
