We are proud of our Mission Program at FPGMC. These missions reach local causes, as well as national and international causes. The generosity of the members of the church shines in this ministry.
Here are some of the many missions we support in action and deeds.
Good News Jail & Prison Ministry
Chaplain Rick Cawthon serves the inmates and employees in the Sheboygan County Detention Center. Fountain Park GMC has been a supporting church since 2004 when the ministry began. The purpose of this mission is to meet the spiritual needs of both inmates & staff through ministry that includes evangelism, discipleship, and pastoral attention, while facilitating other religious faiths within the guidelines established by law and the correctional facility. New Missions – Haiti
Located just 600 miles southeast off the coast of Florida lies the island of Hispaniola. Haiti occupies the western third of the island and it is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. It is a country of 9 million people with 80% unemployment without government assistance. The same percentage does not have access to fresh drinking water.
Fountain Park GMC has been associated with New Missions in Haiti since the early 1990’s, with various church members sponsoring Haitian children through the mission. Sponsorship provides a Christian education, school materials and uniform, access to the mission medical clinic, and most importantly a hot meal for each student and provide food for families. The mission feeds each student physically, intellectually and spiritually. Today New Missions does ministry in 28 villages and has over 10,000 Haitian students attending schools from elementary to high school to trade schools and their university.
In addition, numerous members of Fountain Park GMC have traveled to New Missions in Haiti to do mission work. Volunteer work includes visiting villages evangelizing, bringing gifts from Jesus, playing with the children, helping in the mission clinic, schools, distributing food and doing some repairs. Empower International Ministries: Empower International Ministries combats the root cause of abuse, abandonment, and injustice, so that families can be healed, communities restored, and culture transformed.
Empower equips leaders in developing and historically non-Christian countries to become change agents in their own communities. Our Bible-based programs teach the equal worth and potential for unity among all human beings, regardless of gender, ethnicity, social, age, or family status. We also provide trauma-recovery training and skills for caregivers of abused, orphaned, and traumatized children.
FPGMC is proud to sponsor James & Sarah L. through their work with this organization. Website: https://empowerinternational.org/

Freedom Cry: Our Mission: Break the cycle of human trafficking through partnership, prevention and support resources. Human trafficking is modern day slavery. Traffickers lure vulnerable victims in servitude and exploitation through force, fraud, and/or coercion. Trafficking happens here in the US, even in Sheboygan County, WI. Through your partnership prevention and support resources are possible. Together we can end human trafficking.
